New Year, New Place, New Gatherings…

We’re starting the new year in a new Sunday location, and that’s not all that’s new! Read on…

New LOCATION: Cedar Heights Middle School! Jan 7

Don’t miss our inaugural gathering at a new location! We’re excited about serving our neighbors at Cedar Heights, building on the relationships Maddy and Dave began when they launched WyldLife.

It’s also a big move for our kids! We’ll have dedicated space for our elementary students and for the first time in 3 years, a dedicated space and leadership for ages birth to five!

New INTRODUCTION: Welcome Experience on Jan 14

Have more questions about Kitsap House? Come explore who we are and how we got started at the Welcome Experience after Sunday’s gathering, meeting downtown Port Orchard on January 14.

Whether this is your first time coming to worship or your fifth, the Welcome Experience is a great way to get to know the community more with a guided tour (literally!) through the story of Kitsap House, our values, and where we hope to go next (and where we hope you’ll get to jump in). If the guided tour doesn’t satiate your curiosity, there will be time to ask any questions of the pastors. Lunch and snacks are provided to satiate hunger.

New COURSE: Practicing the Way on Tuesdays beginning Jan 16

What a great way to start the new year! Don’t just make one resolution – come explore the rhythms of life with Jesus with a community.

If you’re interested in building a foundation for life in community at Kitsap House, or just want practical wisdom for growing your faith, this is a great place to start. This course practices the way of Jesus even in how it meets – over a meal, intergenerationally, in conversation, and in challenging one another to bring together the experiences you’ve had over your life with the invitations you’re sensing from Jesus right now.

We look forward to seeing you and meeting your neighbors throughout 2024.

PS I can’t look into 2024 without celebrating some pretty-big-deals from the close of the year.

  1. THANK YOU to the RACC – Kitsap Physical Therapy, and RAWW – Kaleb, Jessica, Emily, Taylor, Jennifer, Dave – for providing us with a lace to meet for over a year. You are creating an intentional place for healing for folks, and we loved being a part of it.

  2. THANK YOU to the team for the week of 24/7 prayer leading up to the winter solstice. Anchoring the celebration of Christmas in talking with God about his hope for the world shaped our whole community, and I trust made an impact in the seen and unseen work of the Kingdom.

  3. THANK YOU to the Miner’s for hosting a New Years Eve party! I love ringing in the new year with you, Kitsap House, and your family and neighbors.

  4. THANK YOU to the Worship Table Team for a most hospitable Christmas Eve service and the extra time you gave to bless your community at Kitsap House, moving chairs and setting up sound and kids’ spaces and candles and treats – it did not go unnoticed.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

-Pastor Megan
